Symposium Geographie und Schule

The Symposium „Geographie und Schule“  will be held during the IGC 2102 from 27-28 August 2012. If you encounter difficulties using the online booking system or would like to ask any other question regarding the registration process, please contact the congress organisers for further assistance at info@igc2012.org.

Please bear in mind:

  • The Symposium is not included in the IGC 2012 congress fee.
  • It is not necessary to register for the main congress in order to participate in the symposium.
  • The number of places available is limited to 200 and tickets will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Early Bird: 2 November 2011 to 10 April 2012
Normal: 11 April 2012 to 31 July 2012
On-site: 26 August 2012 to 30 August 2012

Registration and payment facilities has started on 2 November 2011.

Please take note of the following deadlines and fees regarding cancellations of or alterations to your booking.
Before the 10th April 2012:  80% refund of all booking fees.
Before the 31st July 2012:  50% refund of all booking fees.
No refund will be granted for cancellation effected any later than 1st August 2012.

To register for the Symposium it is necessary to create a personal account. Registering your participation for the congress, submitting an abstracts, booking a place on a field trips or making a payment is only possible online via the IGC 2012 congress management system.
