Field trips
In addition to the scientific programme of sessions, workshops, and
keynote lectures, the IGC 2012 will also provide an extensive programme
of academic field trips. A wide choice of field trips have been
arranged for delegates to experiencing geography “in the
field” either pre-, during, or post-Congress. The programme
includes an array of different destinations in Cologne and in the
region.

The Local Organising Committee wish to thank all those involved in organising a field trip for their time and effort.
Participation in field trips is at the delegate’s own risk. In
case any field trip has to be cancelled, all registered participants
will be given the choice between a full refund and the possibility of
re-booking onto a different field trip subject to availability. The
Local Organising Committee cannot be held responsible for any costs
incurred due to field trips being cancelled.
