Registration for the IGC 2012

Congress fees

Everyone planning to attend the IGC 2012 needs to register and pay in full before attending the congress. All those involved in the congress programme need to register and pay no later than Friday 01 June 2012.
The Local Organising Committee worked hard to keep the registration fees to a minimum. Please check the table below to find your correct registration fee. Please note the deadlines for the different booking fee options :

Early Bird: 2 November 2011 to 10 April 2012
Normal: 11 April 2012 to 15 July 2012 (New deadline!!!)
On-site: no on-site registration

registered in any of the other categories. Accompanying participants
registered in this category may not present papers or posters and will
not participate in the scientific programme.}

Registration and payment facilities has started on 2 November 2011.

Please take note of the following deadlines and fees regarding cancellations of or alterations to your booking.
Before the 10th April 2012: 80% refund of all booking fees.
Before the 31st July 2012: 50% refund of all booking fees.
No refund will be granted for cancellation effected any later than 1st August 2012.

Additional charges

Some events at the International Geographical Congress will require a separate registration and will incur additional charges (e.g. congress dinner, scientific field excursions, etc).

To register for the IGC 2012 it is necessary to create a personal account. Registering your participation for the congress, submitting an abstracts, booking a place on a field trips or making a payment is only possible online via the IGC 2012 congress management system.
