Visa

Depending on your country of origin it may be necessary to apply for a visa before travelling to Germany. A list of nationalities for which a visa is obligatory is available on the website of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Auswärtiges Amt). Any further questions concerning visa applications can be dealt with on this website.
You will find the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at www.auswaertiges-amt.de.

Visa

Please start preparing your visa application well in advance of the congress. As visa guidelines and application requirements differ widely between countries, we strongly recommend that you contact the German embassy in your home country as early as possible to inquire about the specific visa regulations regarding your country.

Letter of invitation

If you require a letter of invitation to support your visa application, please contact us following the link at the bottom of the page. Please note that we will only be able to issue a letter of invitation to participants who fulfil one of the following criteria:
  • You are the chair or co-chair of a session that has been accepted by the Scientific Committee. OR
  • You have submitted an abstract and your paper has been accepted by the session chair.
