Check-In at the IGC 2012

The Check-in area will be located at the rear end of the MAIN building. The opening hours are as follows:

Saturday 25th August 1:00 pm until 08:00 pm
Sunday, 26th August 7:15 am until 8:30 pm
Monday, 27th August 7:00 am until 7:45 pm
Tuesday, 28th August 7:15 am until 7:45 pm
Wednesday, 29th August 7:15 am until 7:45 pm
Thursday, 30th August 7:15 am until 2:00 pm

 
Peak hours are expected on Monday, therefore we would like to ask everyone presenting on Monday morning to either check-in on Sunday already or take the waiting time into consideration when planning your visit.

The check-in process:

  1. There will be 10 check-in booths sorted alphabetically by last names.
  2. Please bring a print out version of your invoice and have it available at the booth.
  3. The IGC staff will check your registration and payment status.
  4. You will receive at the booth the following items:
  • participant confirmation
  • book of abstracts on a USB drive
  • voucher for the conference bag
  • vouchers for drinks
  • tickets for social events you have booked
  • conference badge
Important: The Conference Badge is your ticket for the IGC 2012 and grants access to all conference locations and presentation rooms and is at the same time your ticket for the local public transport (not for day-tickets). Lost badges unfortunately cannot be replaced.

You can trade in your conference bag voucher at a separate booth. The conference bag contains the programme book and information by our partners.
